This is an exciting and unique opportunity for the right candidate; we are seeking a Service Manager to join our Children’s Social Care management team, working across the full breadth of Children Social Care, including our front door, Assessment and Intervention, Permanency and Protection Team and our Fostering, Adoption and Care Leaver Team.
The Children’s Social Care team in Rutland are very proud of the work they undertake and proud of the services they deliver to children and their families. We want the best for our children and families and as we continue to improve and develop the Service Manager role will support us to further embed good practice.
We base our practice on the Signs of Safety and Relationship Model and we are looking for someone to join our team to take our service and practice to another level, further shaping children’s social work at Rutland.

You will need to have a professional social work qualification and be HCPC registered, with experience of managing complex and challenging social work teams (albeit this does not have to be at Tier 3).
